Italian Collection

While I am not a fan of Roman history I must admit the ancient Romans made advances in technologies that we still draw benefit from today.   

 Modern Italy is a far cry from those ancients, whose brutal tactics on enemies, fellow countrymen, and women are recorded in museums, books, and in the surviving architecture. 

'The Italian Way' today is enchanting. Spending a lengthy time in Tuscany I fell in love with everything Italian. I fell in love with the art of living, of High Renaissance art, of its rolling hills and valleys peppered with vineyards, monasteries, stone houses, and grand villas set in grand gardens.
